Feedback Form: Domestic abuse, rape and sexual crime

Closes 31 Mar 2024

Opened 24 May 2023

Overview

Police Scotland values feedback from people we engage with in Scotland’s diverse communities. Outcome 3 of our Joint Strategy for Policing states that "the public, communities and partners are engaged, involved and have confidence in policing".

We are committed to ensuring our services are high quality and meet the public’s expectations. One of the ways we do this is by facilitating opportunities for people to give us feedback about our services. This helps us understand what we are getting right, and what we could do better.

This feedback form is one of the ways we listen to understand public experience with our policing services.

Reporting a crime or providing information about an incident

Please note that this platform is not for reporting crime, providing information about an incident, or asking us for help. To find out ways to contact the police, please visit our website. If you or someone else needs police assistance, please dial 101, or in an emergency use 999.

What happens with what you tell us

This feedback form provides victim survivors of domestic abuse, rape and other sexual crime the opportunity to provide their feedback to Police Scotland.

Our own professional Research and Insight team works alongside policing leaders to ensure your feedback is heard and makes a difference. We review responses regularly. This helps us know what we need to do to enhance or improve our policing services and recognise good practice.

We invite anyone who has reported domestic abuse, rape or other sexual crime to Police Scotland to share their anonymous feedback with us. If you have any questions please use the contact details on this page.
