Corroboration in Domestic Abuse Investigations and Risk of Exposure to Compassion Fatigue

Thank you for participating in this study, your time and effort is appreciated and will help form part of a dissertation project for BA (hons) degree in Applied Investigations.  You have been selected for this survey due to your role within Tier 2 or Tier 3 of Police Scotland’s police response to domestic abuse. Your participation will be anonymous and the initial demographic questions have been limited so that individual identification cannot be determined.

The aim of this research is to establish officers perceptions of the investigative methods used to establish corroboration in domestic abuse incidents and the operational support available to them.  The findings from this research study will be used to answer the research question detailed above.

This survey consists of 15 questions with multiple choice answers and one open ended questions. The survey should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete.
