Yes I agree. Being a political police force and part of the SNP, you have lost all confidence you had. Even if you do something about it, this confidence will take many years to re estblish. Put succinctly, you've blown it big time.

Workforce

5. The Policing 2026 strategy highlights that we will need to re-shape our organisation with a workforce focussed on having the right skills and capacity to meet future challenges. Do you agree with this approach?

We would welcome any views you have.
Stop reshaping anything. The last 'reshape' was an unmitigated disaster. Try repairing some of the damage done. Is there a need for a Police Scotland - no. Put it back to the way it was. Currently, PS is the police arm for the SNP and does not represent local needs - it can't.

We would welcome any views you have.
You have become a part of the SNP government. It is in danger of becoming a little like North Korea. There is no need for a Police Scotland, and the transition from the original regional style of policing, which by and large worked well and represented the communities you are serving, has resulted in a calamitous loss in confidence. Additionally, it has resulted in a loss in effectiveness, local policing and knowledge and most importantly (perceived or otherwise), the politicization of policing in Scotland. An utter disaster.
