Having worked in England, the policing methods there were focussed on crime prevention rather than only DETECTION which seemed to me to be the overarching principle of Scottish policing.

We would welcome any views you have.
Again the sottish police service had this big drive in 2013 to reduce support staff and then backfill with cops into these roles? Some of the backroom jobs need policing expierence to make them work effectively for the organisation.Command and control filled with cops is not the way forward.

We would welcome any views you have.
I am one of the cops in a crime prevention role within a national team. I feel my 20+ years on the frontline has been of benefit to the team and would be concerned from a personal position on what this means for me going forward? More uncertainity continues 4 years on from amalgamation, in my view this is why you continue to have a disgruntled anxious workforce.
