Public order offences including football violence and random assaults are being down graded. Whilst I agree that cyber crime has risen we cannot ignore our core functions. In my area we are operating with Redacted text

I feel that instead of accepting responsibility for mental health issues we should be forcing our 'partners' to step up !.

As the investment in new technology has been a disaster and the current policy of using 'dumbed down' in-house developed software solutions is creating major problems then this strategy is destined to fall at the first hurdle!.

This will be a huge undertaking due to the lack of uniformed patrols in the public streets. There is currently no public confidence!.

What is there to reshape?. I agree that the right skills are required for specialist tasks but this is a small part of police work where more general skills are required.

These 'specialized' skills will be based in the Central belt to the detriment of the rest of us. Posts will be stripped from our current strength to facilitate these new units!. We have already lost the majority of our Redacted text !.
