I think Mental Health in the community will become a significant issue for Police Scotland, you mention on a number of occasions partnership working. This I think is key in a tight fiscal climate. Effective team working with MH professionals at front line policing will also help.

I think as a strategy it is effective and I agree with the method proposed, however translating strategy into delivery means management need to be accountable. How will this be implemented?

I feel we as an organisation are poor at talent management. Mature Police Constables with significant relevant historical experience are over looked for projects due to lack of time served. I have been made aware that senior management recognise this as an issue but it is not filtering down to management that conduct the interviews. Perhaps a framework is required to help recognise historical experience. This will help with developing our talent pool for the future
