Please tell us why you think these are the right or wrong areas of focus?
I feel that the Police need to get on good terms with the public and gain their confidence. Focusing on these areas will reduce these gaps that I feel are there at the moment.

Please tell us why you think this is the right or wrong approach?
Focusing on localism and strengthening our partnership and equipment(budget dependant) would give not only the public assurance in our abilities but also our own sureness that we can carry out our daily tasks

We would welcome any views you have.
The right skills and equipment will help deal with this approach. Being a fairly new probationer, I find it surprising that an organisation like Police Scotland has multiple, mediocre computer systems(too many, too slow, outdated) for employees to use to input highly secure information. This causes timely inputs and takes resources off the streets.

We would welcome any views you have.
As society changes, then we must change accordingly. I believe that the strategy set up by Police Scotland will keep us in line with any changes that are made. Having ideal equipment and improved IT systems would make a massive impact in officers delivering these goals.
