Its fine that the waffle is in writing for the next 10 or so years, but the truth is your great police officers have been totally let down by the Government. Locally many of us have been unfortunate to have been on the receiving end of crimes and Police Scotland were a total waste of time. luckily we have some great local police who care and in spite of the cut backs and the system that is not doing what the public want. they still manage to help us. People in general that I speak with have absolutely no confidence in this big brother type business, they know what is really going on, what with the closing of local police stations and having the officers cover massive areas with virtually no back up, most of the public would rather have a decent police force and not a token one. It is a total disgrace what is going on and it is about time the politicians get there finger out and start to sort it out properly.
